This dairy free #richandcreamy #sweetandsavory version is just perfect and I could not wait to eat it and shared it with my daughter for our #delicious #breakfast today..!!!!
Eating cooling foods is so good for our delicate tummy’s #Gerd diet and I’m gonna be making different versions of this more often .
Recipe given below :
NOTE ( This Recipe is NOT recommended for those who still have Hpylori or #Candida or Diabetes as it contains both dates and bananas , And it contains NUTS so avoid and beware of allergies if you have nut allergies.) Have a blessed weekend all
Ingredients
- 2 frozen bananas
- Sugar free Almond butter -2 heaped tablespoon (Avoid if you have nut allergy )
- Almond or lite coconut milk (add thick coconut milk if you want the texture more creamy )-2 tablespoon
- Majdool dates -3
- Vanilla- 1 tablespoon
- 100% pure maple syrup -3.5 tablespoon or more depending on how sweet you like it .
- A pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt (optional)
Please note you have to prep in advance and do everything simultaneously so the nicecream does not melt
Step 1: Freeze 2 bananas for about half an hour, Peal and chop into pieces and add to a mixer grinder.
Step 2: Add 2 large scoops of sugar free and preservatrive free almond butter in it .
Step 3: Next Add 2 tablespoon of almond milk or any dairy free milk ideally lite coconut milk for a more creamy texture, better for Gerd or Acidreflux. I used almond milk . (If you can digest full fat coconut milk then that gives the creamiest texture but I don’t recommend that for anyone with stomach or digestive issues as it’s high in saturated fats and more difficult to digest. )
Step 3: Add 1 large tablespoon of vanilla essence.
Step 4: Soak 3-4 large majdool dates discarding the seeds in hot water for 10 minutes, discard the water .
Step 5: Next Add the softened dates and 3.5 large tablespoon of maple and blitz to a smooth , luscious and creamy lump free mixture
Step 5: Empty into a glass container (Taste it , if you like it more sweet add more maple and adjust to your taste balancing it with a pinch of salt ) with a tight lid and freeze for 2 hours.
Step 5: After 2 hours scoop out using an ice cream scooper , top with dessicated almonds and dig in to your creamy and luscious salted caramel nicecream, bon appetite and happy weekend
