Symptoms of Acid reflux

Acid reflux is the backflow of stomach acid and or food (regurgitation) into the food pipe or Esophagus due to a loose LES. The Lower Esophageal sphincter is a muscular ring that is located where the esophagus meets the stomach.

When the LES is damaged it does not open and close properly resulting is reflux or the food contents to reflux back from the stomach into the esophagus causing Acid reflux

Difference between ACID REFLUX and GERD

When you have more than twice a week it becomes a chronic condition known as GERD or Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease
